| Prayer Request: | Lord, I’m confused. I’m hurt. I’m upset. I’m scared to turn to you because as a child when I called your name pleading for help you did not answer. At 32 my body is failing. Doctors cannot seem to pinpoint what is causing my constant pain thus they can’t give me anything to treat it. On top of constant pain and severe depression, you made me autistic which has lead me to a life of involuntary isolation. God, If this suffering has greater meaning please open my eyes to it. I cannot see your purpose in my suffering. I do not know your plan. I pray this suffering is not for nothing. Sometimes I wonder if I’m cursed or have some sort of demon attached to me because I lived by your word and did nothing but good I ended up suffering abuse and neglect as an innocent child. I don’t want to challenge you God, I’m just asking for clarity- some sort of sign that my life has a meaning and my suffering has a purpose because I’m very close to giving up completely and I was taught you don’t forgive suicide so, if you’re truly all I have left I cant lose my relationship with you, too. my autism makes it hard for me to understand certain things so, maybe I’ve been missing your signs all along. If you see it fit, please show me a sign I’ll personally find undeniable. In Jesus’ name, Amen. |
